At a little over 20km, this stretch of the KVR is unlike any other. Bike through never-ending vineyards, grab some wine to go and stop at one of the many restaurants along the narrow Naramata Bench. As you head South to Penticton, you’ll enter the Little Tunnel, a tunnel carved out of the mountain (a perfect photo opportunity). Further up the trail, you’ll discover Rock Ovens Regional Park, where train passengers used to cook the meals they brought. Because this used to be a train through the wilderness, they had to stop and make food along the side of the tracks, and so the Rock Ovens were born. This glimpse into history between sips of wine makes for a unique experience. With such a wide swatch of attractions, this stretch of scenic trail is perfect for a day- or weekend trip with family or friends.
